A Successful Dissertation Defense!

Last Friday I successfully defended my dissertation research! Below is the poster that I used to advertise my talk around campus. The talk itself went well, but was a surprisingly emotional experience - the combination of nerves and fatigue, plus having some of the most important people in my life (family, friends, & colleagues) there to support me had me tearing up at the beginning and end of the talk!
